well well well...the New Year is certainly starting off with a optimistic note. Our guest designer just submitted his lamp pictures that i share with you here. A promising designer and a great friend, I just had to bring him on board for his work i have seen. The lamp is crafted out of grey board and acrylics and is an exquisite addition to this blog. X-RAY Lamps

Finally the wait is over...the long overdue and awaited Xray Lamp is here. Just received my first sample of xray films. Now this is a Limited edition Lamp. There are just 10 of them up for grabs since these xray films are quite a task to get my hands to. Havent posted the price as yet since will start selling this from 25th dec and will also put a counter as to how many lamps are left in stock. therefore better keep an eye on this space.

A few Announcements

Sorry for such a long silence...i am finally graduating therefore was busy with my thesis and took minimum orders...but now you guys can order as much as you want. There were a few announcements that I wanted to make:

• LUMINOCITY has now its official Facebook Page (http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/LuminoCity-by-Owais-Haji/128743960519195 )
• LUMINOCITY will be having another appearance at the GRAND OPENING OF PORT GRAND. Now this is a big oppurtunity to catch these lamps since I would be swapping the lamps after every two days and the event goes till 7 days so make sure you do not miss out on any of it ... 12pm to 8pm so all you guys are welcome. There will be a lot to do and trust me it is an amazing place. You haven't seen anything quite like it in Karachi.
• At Port Grand i'll be introducing two new products :
  table and floor lamps (though i've been doing them on and off will be officially introducing them there.
  Limited Edition X-ray Lamps...onli available in one size (medium) n pendant onli...will put up a countdown as to how many i have so u better get one till the stocks last :)
• Will also be introducinng a guest lamp designer cum architect to-be too as soon as things fall ito place

Appearance at Port Grand

A stall was put up amongst the craft lane at Port Grand at the soft opening of the Gallery in mid- October. The whole stall was a collaboration of Ghazal Pirzada creative studios ( http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Ghazal-Pirzada-Creative-Studios/151520531557881?v=wall ) and Firefly ( http://whimsicalfirefly.wordpress.com/) we had an appearance in the local newspaper too
